Thank you for visiting the CHASE
Ben Hollioake Fund website.
England and Surrey cricketer, Ben Hollioake,
was the youngest England debutant since 1949 and was voted
Young Cricketer of the Year. In 2002, he was killed in a road
accident aged just 24. Brother Adam, the ex-England and Surrey
Captain and the Hollioake Family are creating an everlasting
memory in Ben’s name.
The goal in association with CHASE hospice
care for children is to raise as much money as possible over five years for CHASE Hospice Care for
Children. All funds raised help to support life-limited children and their families. These are children
who are not expected to live past the age of 19. We currently support 254 families out of the 700+
in need in our area.
At CHASE we believe a child's time may be limited but their
lives needn't be.

"The natural athlete and entertainer whose
cricketing career was about to really take off in a
big way. With the Ashes series nearly upon us England's
chances of finally regaining them would have been greatly
improved if the middle order consisted of Pieterson,
Flintoff and of course our Ben.
Ben's loss to his family and friends is obvious and
he will always be missed. Certain things can never be
replaced and Ben was a unique character liked by everyone."
Forever in our thoughts
