Adam Hollioake and all of us here at the Fund
are always delighted whenever anybody wants to put on their
own event to support the Fund. It means a great deal to us
and we will do all we can to help.
Below are some of the examples of events that have been organised
independently.
THE FARMHOUSE CRICKET MATCH
The annual duel between the Farmhouse Pub in Horley and the nearby Bull pub has become a bit of a fixture in the fundraising event calendar for the Ben Hollioake Fund. Adam Hollioake has been known to turn up and pull a pint and Martin Bicknell has also bowled an over or two in the cricket match battle between the two pubs. With food and alchohol in plentiful supply, the evening is always a popular one and a rematch takes place in the form of a skittles game.

A fantastic £8000 was raised and the organisers, Andy Bowden, Paul Smitherman and Nick Garnett enjoyed it all so much may well do another one this year!

RICHMOND GREEN CUP
Laughter and music aren’t usually the sounds that go hand in hand with cricket. But on a beautiful day in August 2004, Richmond Green was abundant with it all.
The first ever Richmond Green Cup consisted of 8 local cricket pub teams vying for the Cup, with music and BBQ’s to make it a fun day out for all the family.
The Cricketers Pub was suitably the victorious winning team and a fantastic £4000 was raised for the Ben Hollioake Fund.
